My inspiration for these rings  came in half – sleep. All I had to do is draw it. The eight smooth sections represent the eight practices in Buddhism: right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadhi.

However maintaining the standard of right conduct, speech etc is not easy, hence the rough paths between the smooth section. Both rings can be made either in silver or gold with rose gold plating and black enamel. The larger ring has a more conservative color pattern, but it can be made like the smaller ring.
