Priest’s Cross
A young priest who was about to be ordained was looking for a way to add some metal around his hand carved wooden cross. There are many options out there as some people specialize in this kind of thing, but the more elaborate the work the more costly it can get. There are some people specialize in this kind of thing producing filigree jewelry for orthodox churches. The customer wanted a simple and less costly solution, so it was made in smooth silver with five dots that are plant ivory. The attachment at the bottom is called “the tear of Christ”.
