Dragon Bracelet
This is an interesting project. The customer wanted a dragon cuff with a humility symbol. The symbolism was clear to me with no further explanation. Originally the dragon was suppose to be gold, but due to the budget limitations it was only gold plated. The symbol that it is holding is an African symbol of humility that was made in silver. There were no specific instructions in the beginning and that is why the project was quite enjoyable. It was not easy to come up with a dragon that would easily wrap around a wrist. This this version seemed to be the best choice. The cuff is held together by a magnet. The tricky thing with rigid cuff is that they are not very comfortable to wear, so customers who have not worn these items before should be aware of that fact. By locking it with a magnet this cuff has a weak point that an open up in case it it gets caught in clothing. If it had a strong clasp it would would either break or hurt the wrist in those situations.
